Looks like Sophie has yet another project lined up for this year. At the moment all I know is there is some speculation she is doing a film called 'Belphégor', which is being produced by Alain Sarde. Early reports say that the film may have Marceau and/or Adjani in it. But considering the history between these two it doesn't look likely. The film is a remake of a 1965 classic that starred Juliete Greco.  Filming should start sometime in April.

It has just been announced that she will be staring in another film for Claude Pinoteau next year (2000). This is the guy who brought us Sophie originally, he directed her in La Boum et La Boum 2. Sophie's character is a wheelchair-bound paraplegic. The working title of the film is La demi-pensionnaire, it is a  love story.

TWINE
Sophie Marceau, currently has two projects, she is working towards. One is the latest James Bond Flick: The World is Not Enough. The other is a French film called La Fidélité, both of which were filmed this year. TWINE was released across most of the world during November 1999, while La Fidélité also got a November release in France
